As sales people, if we have a good week and write three times the normal business for that week, we tend to relax and not work as hard. We know that we usually make so much money in a year or write so much per month. It is common knowledge for someone to win the lottery and blow the lot within a couple of years because their belief systems do not match what is consciously happening. The thermostat triggers and they are pulled back to their more comfortable zone. Our thermostat pulls us back or forward, to where we believe we should be, and this thermostat causes us not to use our potential.
